Also, a new feature that Microsoft has launched in the Windows 10 November 2015 update It basically gives applications the ability to stream media content from your Computer/Tablet/Smart phone device directly to your TV. One such application is Microsoft Edge.
It is used to transfer/share files or videos to a different device connected to your system. It is just an option to share files. For example, you can connect Smart TV to your system and use this option to stream/play the files.

It might be best to show the basics slowly and go over them a few times so you can be sure they have understood. Keep it as simple as possible and avoid using jargon or complicated terms.
